 Artist Hla Myint Swe was born in Bamaw, Kachin State,
Myanmar in 1948, and graduated from Defence Services
Academy, Pyin Oo Lwin.He served in various infantry
battallions, divisions and signal corps as an army
officer.
For the present,he is the Head of the Public Relations
and Information Department of Yangon City Development
Committee. He is an artist and he has also published the
International Standard Books of “Yangon-the Garden City
(1995)”, “Shwedagon-Symbol of Strength and Serenity
(1997)”, “Yangon-Green City of Grace (1999)” and “Pen
Sketches and Aesthetics of Artist Hla Myint Swe (2006)”.
He will continue to pour his energy into introducing
Myanmar’s development and traditional culture worldwide. |
